We have a dedicated team of providers to care for your child. Many of our providers have special interest and expertise in such areas as prematurity, developmental delays, asthma and allergies, gynecology, behavior problems, nutrition, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Our medical assistant staff is able to perform blood draws, EKGs, spirometry, and vision and hearing assessments. Our office staff is ready to assist you with appointments, insurance, billing, forms, and medical records. Our practitioners are affiliated with the following hospitals: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, and The Franklin Square Medical Center. Children who are admitted to the hospital for serious illness and surgeries are followed by the inpatient team of practitioners at the hospital. Our Providers
Dr. Diana Fertsch Born in New York, but has spent most of her adult life in Baltimore. Undergraduate education at UMBC, Ph.D. in Microbiology, M.D. from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Pediatric training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Joined Dundalk Pediatrics in 1994. Lives with her husband and son. Mrs. Anna Fisher (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) A Baltimore native. Received undergraduate education and Nursing degree from University of Maryland at Baltimore. Senior clinical nurse at Hopkins neonatal intensive care unit for 14 years. Received nurse practitioner certification from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Joined Dundalk Pediatrics in 2001. Lives with her husband and son. Mrs. Glinda Florendo (Physician Assistant) Grew up in Southern Maryland. Undergraduate education at Towson University. Medical training at Physician Assistant Program at Essex Community College. Joined Dundalk Pediatrics in 1988. Lives with her husband and daughter. Ms. Kara Franz (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) Grew up in Dundalk. Undergraduate education in Biology from UMBC. Received her undergraduate nursing and nurse practitioner certification at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Also completed a Master's of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Joined Dundalk Pediatrics in 2009. Lives with her husband, Phil. Ms. Rebecca Lozman (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) Grew up in upstate New York. Undergraduate education in Sociology from University of New Hampshire and a Masters in Public Heath from Emory University. Received her undergraduate nursing and nurse practitioner certification at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Joined Dundalk Pediatrics in 2008. Lives in Baltimore and loves it! Dr. J. Crossan O'Donovan Grew up in the Baltimore area. Graduated from Yale, followed by Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1965, and received pediatric training at Duke and Montreal Children's Hospital. Past President of the Maryland Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics. Founded what is now Dundalk Pediatrics in 1971. Lives with his wife, Brenda who is a nurse. Has three children and six grandchildren. Dr. Rebecca Rabin A native of Baltimore. Undergraduate education at Haverford College. Medical Degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Masters Degree in Health Policy from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Pediatric Residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Joined Dundalk Pediatrics in 2011. Lives with her husband and son. Dr. Marcia Schwartz Born in
Ohio, but grew up in New York with undergraduate education at Cornell. Attended
Johns Hopkins University for a Ph.D. Degree in biochemistry and medical school
at University of Miami Medical School. Residency and fellowship training in Dr. Heather Wade Born in New York, but grew up in Frederick, Maryland. Undergraduate education at University of Maryland at College Park. Medical Degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Pediatric training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Joined Dundalk Pediatrics in 2007. Lives with her husband, daughter, and son.
